Introduction of new hire(s) and authorize County Judge to sign new hire checklist(s) and job description(s) as appropriate. Unit Seven, into the Comal County Unit Road System, and release the associated road surety, Construction Bond #26-13-40 (Pct. #4);
Note: The roads within the referenced subdivision have been completed by the developer in compliance with the Comal County Subdivision Regulations. The Road Department has inspected the paving and drainage improvements and recommends Commissioners Court accept the roads within Mystic Shores, Unit Seven, into the Comal County Unit Road System. The Road Department has inspected the paving and drainage improvements and recommends Commissioners Court releases the associated surety, Construction Bond No. 26-13-20. CZ/JM 4/0_________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________ d. 2003-05 regarding the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant Funding; (Attachment A6d) JM/JK 4/0_________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________ e. 2003-06 authorizing submission of an "Emergency Shelter Grants Program" grant application through the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs Community Services Program; (Attachment A6e) CZ/JK Discussion: Nadine Murdock with the Housing Authority informed the Court that this grant funding can be applied for directly by the Salvation Army therefore eliminating the need for Comal County to get involved in the grant application. - MOTION and SECOND WERE WITHDRAWN ______________________________________________________________________________ f. 2003-07 authorizing submission of Texas Parks and Wildlife Boat Ramp Grant Program Application for Village West Boat Ramp and authorize County Judge to sign related documents to various entities. (Attachment A6f) NO ACTION TAKEN - Charles Stephens, WORD Board Member, informed the Court that this grant source would not be accepting grant applications until the deadline of July 31, 2003. Therefore WORD will continue to work on the grant and bring it back to the Court for approval at a later date. ______________________________________________________________________________
7. Renewal of Auto Physical Damage Coverage, General Liability Coverage, Auto Liability Coverage, Public Officials Liability Coverage, and Law Enforcement Liability Coverage through the Texas Association of Counties County Government Self Insurance Fund and authorize County Judge to sign.
