8:15 A.M. ACTION AGENDA:

The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:

1. Claims. APPROVED

2. Amendment to Plat, Cypress Cove, Section Eleven, combining Lots 15 and 16 of Block 1 into Lot 15R. (Pct. #4) APPROVED

3. Consider the proposal from property owners within a portion of Arrowhead Village Subdivision for the County maintenance of a portion of roads within Unit 1, and all of the roads within Units 2, 3, and 4 within said subdivision. (Pct. #4) APPROVED

WORKSHOP AGENDA:

1. Reports from Elected Officials and Staff.

2. Reports from Citizens.

3. Presentation on San Antonio Urban Area Security Initiatives Public Awareness Campaign for ReadySouthTexas.gov

ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED:

The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:

4. Proclamation recognizing April 2005, as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month in Comal County. APPROVED

5. Proclamation recognizing April 10-16, 2005, as National County Government Week. APPROVED

6. Discuss and consider refunds (over $2,500.00) of ad valorem tax overpayments or erroneous payments and authorize the Comal County Tax Assessor-Collector to remit refund payments. APPROVED

7. Approve Memorandum of Understanding with Comal County Sheriff’s Office and San Antonio Police Department for utilization of their Public Safety System and authorize County Judge to sign. APPROVED

8. Approve members to the 2005 Comal County Salary Grievance Committee. APPROVED

9. Approve Interlocal Cooperation Contract between Comal County’s Justice of the Peace Offices, Precincts 1, 3, and 4 and The Texas Department of Public Safety to provide funding to procure information services from Statewide Contracts awarded by the Department of Information Resources and authorize County Judge to sign. APPROVED

10. Acknowledge the recording of 3S Subdivision in accordance with Commissioners Court action of August 26, 2004. APPROVED

11. Approve Comal County population and employment projections for years 2000-2030 as prepared by the Alamo Area Council of Governments for use by TXDOT and the Local Metropolitan Planning Organization. APPROVED

12. Amend the 2005 General Fund and the Damage Control Fund budgets for transfer from General Fund to Damage Control Fund – Public Official Liability to cover cost of lawsuit against AVE Inc. APPROVED

13. Open bids for: Schoenthal Drainage Improvements Project. MOVED TO 4-14-05

14. Award bids for: Oblate Drive right-of-way clearing within Comal County. APPROVED
