8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon: 1. Claims. APPROVED 2. Authorize transference of $4,500.00 from the Comal County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors to Commissioners’ Court for disbursement to the New Braunfels Industrial Foundation. APPROVED 3. Final approval of the Woodlands subdivision, Unit 21, and accept escrow agreement as road surety. ( Pct. #1) APPROVED 4. Amendment to Plat: a. River Chase, Unit Six, combining Lots 722 and 723 into Lot 722R. (Pct. # 4) APPROVED b. Cypress Cove, Section Three, combining Lots 478 and 479 into Lot 478R. (Pct. #4) APPROVED 5. Set time, date, and place for a public hearing to consider the placement of certain regulatory

ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED: 6. Approve letter to TxDOT concerning their current planning efforts for US 281 and potential impacts on Jumbo Evans Sports Park and authorize the County Judge to sign said letter. APPROVED 7. Set time, date, and place for a public hearing to discuss the Water Oriented Recreation District’s proposal to construct lighting improvements at certain County boat ramps within County Commissioner Precinct 1 on Canyon Lake. (Pct. #1) APPROVED 8. Receive report and recommendation from the Comal County Courthouse Preservation Committee and take appropriate action. APPROVED WITH AMENDMENTS 9. Review the Comal County Electrical Reduction Plan, and direct the County Engineer to take appropriate action. APPROVED 10. Approve notice, which will be attached to 2005 County ad valorem tax statements, regarding the adoption of the County Road Map pursuant to Chapter 258 of the Transportation Code and authorize County Judge to sign said notice. APPROVED 11. Approve proposed street name change from: Mystic Shores Blvd. North to: Mystic Canyon, in Mystic Shores, Units Four and Eight. (Pct. #4) APPROVED 12. Proclamation recognizing the month of September as "Destination Dignity Month" in Comal County. APPROVED 13. Ratify signatures of County Judge & County Nurse on State Immunization Contract extension for 2004. APPROVED 14. Adopt Comal County 2004 Ad Valorem Tax Rate and levy taxes in order to fund 2005 budget. APPROVED 15. Discuss and consider prohibiting outdoor burning. PASS NO ACTION 16. Approve renewal of Ameriflex Service Agreement (COBRA, HIPPA and Cafeteria Administration) and authorize County Judge or Bob Grazioli to sign. APPROVED 17. Partial Release of Lien Assessment for 368 Tom Creek Lane. APPROVED 18. Approve line-item transfer in the Jail from: Capital Equipment to: Office Supplies for the purchase of 3 new chairs.
