1. Approve Claims. APPROVED
2. Approve Treasurer’s Monthly Investment Report as of September 30, 2004. APPROVED
3. Amendment to Plat, Cypress Cove, Section Eleven, combining Lots 5 and 6 of Block 2 into Lot 5R. (Pct. #4) APPROVED
4. Accept the public roads within Mystic Shores, Unit Ten, into the Comal County Unit Road System, and release the associated surety, Construction Bond No. B21871415. (Pct. #4) APPROVED
WORKSHOP AGENDA:
1. Report from Elected Officials and Staff.
2. Report from Citizens.
ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED:
5. Authorize request from Constable Pct. #4 for additional funds to be used for deputy pay in executing warrants, traffic control and civil process. APPROVED
6. Proclamation recognizing October 23rd – 31st as "Red Ribbon Week" in Comal County. APPROVED
7. Approve Resolution 2004-71 requiring all county employees on the county health plan attend the Healthwise training. APPROVED
8. Approve Resolution 2004-101 to accept transfer of e-waste project funding provided by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Alamo Area Council of Governments from the city of New Braunfels to Comal County for the one-day collection of electronic waste. APPROVED
9. Approve Interlocal Agreement between Comal County Public Health, Texas Department State Health Services and Comal Independent School District for use of school sites for public health emergencies and authorize County Judge to sign. APPROVED
10. Approve Order amending a current variable-rate Texas County and District Retirement System retirement plan to authorize cost of living adjustments for Comal County retirees as approved in the 2005 adopted budget. APPROVED
11. Approve reclassification of the Environmental Enforcement Coordinator position from a Pay Group 11 to Pay Group 13 due to receiving her Designated Representative Certification. No budget amendment required. APPROVED
12. Set 2005 holiday schedule for Comal County Offices. APPROVED
13. Approve Access Agreement between Comal County and Holcim (USA) Inc. and authorize County Judge to sign said agreement. APPROVED
14. Approve contract for Professional Engineering Services between Comal County and CH2M Hill Inc., to provide engineering services for a proposed flood retarding structure and authorize County Judge to sign said contract. APPROVED
15. Approve line item transfer in:
a. Extension Service from: Demonstration Supplies to: Office Supplies; APPROVED
b. County Court At Law Judge #2 from: visiting Judges, Books & Publications, and Non-Capital Equipment to: Office Supplies, APPROVED
………….to cover expenses for the remainder of 2004.
16. Amend 2004 Budget in Public Health from: General Fund Reserves to: Telephones to cover cost of telephone service at Bulverde clinic for the remainder of 2004. NO ACTION
17. Authorize Requesting Bids for Security System for Commissioners’ Court building, Annex, Juvenile and Adult Probation buildings with the ability to add other buildings as needed. APPROVED
18. Open Bids for Paving for Jumbo Evans parking lot. (Comal County Parks Department) APPROVED

SUPPLEMENTAL ITEM:
Accept $1500.00 donation from the Downtown Rotary Club for flu vaccination campaign. APPROVED
