BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION. 8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon: 1. Approve Claims. APPROVED 2. Final approval of Spring Branch Meadows, Unit 2, accept associated road surety, and grant variance requests. (Pct. #4) . APPROVED WORKSHOP AGENDA: 1. Report from Elected Officials and Staff. 2. Report from Citizens. ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED: 3. Discuss and consider waiver of penalties and interest accrued on ad valorem taxes and take appropriate action. FAILED for lack of a second. 4. Accept donation to the Sheriff’s Office from Canyon Lake Insurance Agency for the purchase of cameras and amend the 2004 budget for Revenues-Donations and Expenditures-Sheriff’s Office Non-Capital Equipment. APPROVED 5. Designate "acting Judge" responsibilities for 2005 Commissioners’ Court meetings in the absence of the County Judge. APPROVED 6. Set date, time and place for 2005 Commissioners’ Court meetings. APPROVED 7. Approve exceptions to the 2005 Commissioners’ Court meetings. APPROVED 8. Amend 2004 budget in Public Health from: General Fund Reserves to: Telephone to cover the cost of telephone service at the Bulverde clinic for the remainder of 2004. APPROVED 9. Approve line item transfer in the Jail Department from: Medical Supplies, Cleaning & Laundry Supplies, Capital Equipment and Prisoner Supplies to: Police Supplies and Non- Capital Equipment to purchase various supplies. APPROVED 10. Amend 2004 budget in Indigent Health Care from: General Fund Reserves, Advanced Practice Nurse, Ambulatory Surgical Center, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesis, and Physicians Assistants to: Prescription Drugs, Hospital-Inpatient, Hospital-Outpatient, Colostomy Supplies, Diabetic Supplies and Equipment, Psychological Services, Home and Community Health Care, and Non-Creditable services to fund Indigent Health Care for the remainder of 2004. APPROVED 11. Approve line-item transfer in the Department of Public Safety from: Lab and Witness Costs, Travel, Reimbursed Mileage, and Housing of Minors to: Office Supplies, Mobile Phones, and Non-Capital Equipment to cover expenditures for the purchase of office supplies for the remainder of the year and a portable breath tester.
