CALL TO ORDER

8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA:

The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:

1. Approve Claims. APPROVED

2. Approve Treasurer’s Monthly Investment Report-October 31, 2004. APPROVED

3. Acknowledge the receipt of road sureties for Spring Branch Meadows, Unit 2; Irrevocable Letter of Credit No. SB500922, and cash deposit Check No. 5093. (Pct. 4) APPROVED

4. Final approval of Harris Heights Subdivision, and grant variance. (Pct. 1) APPROVED

WORKSHOP AGENDA:

1. Report from Elected Officials and Staff.

2. Report from Citizens.

ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED:

5. Public hearing to consider proposed street name change from OAK PASS to OAK PASS WAY in River Chase, Unit Seven. (Pct. 4) APPROVED

6. Discuss and consider waiver of penalties and interest accrued on ad valorem taxes and take appropriate action. NO ACTION TAKEN

7. Consider, approve and authorize the County Judge to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between Comal County, Texas and Holcim (US) Inc. that defines both Parties’ desires to enter into a cooperative agreement for the successful planning and development of a County Flood Retarding Structure in conjunction with a Holcim Crushed Stone Quarry upon Holcim (US) Inc.’s property within the Dry Comal Creek Watershed. APPROVED

8. Approve the Water Oriented Recreation District seeking various statutory amendments regarding its authority within Chapter 324 of the Texas Local Government Code. APPROVED

9. Approval renewal of Community Supervision and Corrections Agency Agreement between

Comal County and Hays County Community Service Restitution Program for participation in the Community Service Program and authorize County Judge to sign. NO ACTION TAKEN

10. Award bids for Security System for Comal County Courthouse Building –Annex Building and Juvenile and Adult Probation Building with the ability to add other buildings as needed. NO ACTION TAKEN
