CALL TO ORDER

EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION.

8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA:

The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:

1. Approve Claims. APPROVED

2. Amendment to Plat, Cypress Cove, Section One, combining Lots 203 and 204 into Lot 203R. (Pct. #4) APPROVED

WORKSHOP AGENDA:

1. Report from Elected Officials and Staff.

2. Report from Citizens.

ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED:

3. Discuss and consider waiver of penalties and interest accrued on ad valorem taxes and take appropriate action. NO ACTION TAKEN

4. Discuss and consider refunds (over $2,500.00) of ad valorem tax overpayments or erroneous payments and authorize the Comal County Tax Assessor-Collector to remit refund payments. APPROVED

5. Approve and authorize the County Judge to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ("USACE") and Comal County that will provide the means for the USACE to perform an Environmental Assessment for the proposed construction of a boat ramp facility adjacent to Mystic Shores Subdivision at Canyon Lake. APPROVED

6. Approve the Boat Ramp Facility Construction Agreement between Comal County, Texas and Bluegreen Southwest One, L.P., authorize County Judge to sign said agreement, and acknowledge the receipt of $15,000.00 from Bluegreen for the preparation and research for an Environmental Assessment. APPROVED

7. Approve Interlocal Agreement between Comal County Public Health, Texas State Health Services and New Braunfels Independent School District for use of school sites for Public Health Emergencies and authorize County Judge to sign. APPROVED

8. Consider and approve the Sheriff’s Office request effective 12-04-04 to eliminate one of the four Patrol Corporal positions and create a new Sergeant, Courthouse Security position. The position will remain under the Sheriff’s Office budget with no increase to total manpower required. No budget amendment required for 2004. APPROVED
