COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS
NOTICE is hereby given that a REGULAR meeting of COMMISSIONERS' COURT will be held on Thursday, the 29th day of April, 2004 at 8:15 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom, 199 Main Plaza, New Braunfels, Texas.
CALL TO ORDER EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION.
8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
1. Approve Claims.
2. Amendment to Plat:
a. The Springs at Rebecca Creek, Section 3, combining Lots 137 and 139 into Lot 137R. (Pct. #4)
b. Mystic Shores, Unit Eight, combining Lots 893 and 894 into Lot 893R. (Pct. #4)
3. Consider the approval of the application to cancel a public road dedication, being Hidden Meadows Drive, within Hueco Estates, Unit One, within Comal County, Texas. (Pct. 1)
4. Public hearing and the Vacate and Replat of:
a. Lot 1, River Crossing, Unit Six, establishing Lots 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D. (Pct. #1)
b. Lots 281 and 282, Rocky Creek Ranch, Phase 10, establishing Lots 281R and 282R. (Pct. #4).
5. Final approval of Ensenada Shores at Canyon Lake, Unit One, accept road and drainage sureties, accept dedication of right-of-way, and grant variance requests. (Pct. 1) WORKSHOP AGENDA:
1. Reports from Elected Officials and Staff.
2. Reports from Citizens.
3. Presentation by Texas Forest Service on the threat of oak wilt disease in our region.

6. Consider Resolution 2004-19 pertaining to Alamo Area Council of Governments’ (AACOG) solid waste grant application.
7. Ratify license agreement between Comal County and Barbara Hensley on 456 Rivercliff Drive, Canyon Lake, TX 78133, and accept check for annual property license agreement fee dated 4/16/04. (Pct. #4)
8. Accept and authorize the County Judge to sign the following A.A.C.O.G. grants:
a. Source Reduction grant in the amount of $36,970.00.
b. Local Enforcement grant in the amount of $19,269.33.
c. Household Hazardous Waste grant in the amount of $6,621.30.
9. Discuss and consider waiver of penalties and interest accrued on ad valorem taxes and take appropriate action.
10. Discuss and consider refunds (over $2,500.00) of ad valorem tax overpayments or erroneous payments and authorize the Comal County Tax Assessor-Collector to remit refund payments.
11. Select members to serve on the Comal County Salary-Grievance Committee.
12. Approve line-item transfer in the Jail from: Feeding Prisoners to: Non-capital Equipment for the purchase of a new printer with an extended warranty.
13. Authorize requesting bids for repairs to the upper portion of the tax office roof.
