NOTICE is hereby given that a the
CALL TO ORDER EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE
TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION. 8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA:
The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
1. Claims.
2. Amendment to Plat:
a. Rivermont, Unit No. 4, combining Lots 17 and 18 of Block 17 into Lot 17R. (Pct.# 1)
b. The Ridge at Mountain Springs Ranch, combining Lots 351 and 352 into Lot 351R. (Pct.#1)
3. Accept Construction Bond #6335408 as road surety for Rockwall Ranch Subdivision – Unit 1, within Comal County, Texas (Pct. #2).
WORKSHOP AGENDA:
1. Reports from Elected Officials and Staff.
2. Reports from Citizens.
ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
4. Proclamation recognizing Saturday, May 7, 2005, as "Fitness Cinco de Mayo Fiesta Day" in Comal County.
5. Proclamation recognizing the month of May as "Historic Preservation Month" in Comal County.
6. Discuss and consider prohibiting outdoor burning.
7. Approve Federal Equitable Sharing Agreement valid thru September 30, 2008 for Comal County Sheriff’s Office and Federal Government and authorize County Judge to sign.
8. Approve Administrative Services Agreement between Comal County and Texas Association of Counties Health and Employee Benefits Pool and authorize Human Resources Director to sign.
9. Approve Memorandum of Agreement between Comal County Sheriff’s Office and the 37th Training Wing, Lackland Air Force Base for confinement of all Air Force pre-trial prisoners
at the Comal County Jail and authorize County Judge to sign.
10. Ratify license agreement between Comal County and Sattler Estates Property Owners Association. (Pct. #1)
11. Approve Schoenthal Drainage Improvement Project Contract and authorize County Judge to sign.
12. Amend the 2005 Budget in the Road & Bridge Fund from: Reserves to: Transfers Out and in Capital Projects Fund to: Transfers in and Schoenthal Road Drainage Project to cover the contract with Acme Bridge per the accepted bid.
13. Approve line-item transfer in the Treasurer’s Office from: Books and Publications to: Dues to cover increased dues.

14. Review and consider all timely filed bank applications, then select applicant offering most favorable terms and conditions for the handling of the county funds to be the Comal County Depository Bank form 6/1/05 – 5/31/09, pending approval of bank’s security.
