COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS
NOTICE is hereby given that a
CALL TO ORDER EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION.
8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
1. Claims.
2. Final approval of River Chase, Unit Seven, accept Construction Bond No. B21871420 as road surety, accept dedication of right-of-way, and grant variance. (Pct. #4)
3. Amendment to Plat, The Peninsula at Mystic Shores, Unit Two, combining Lots 1319, 1320, and 1321, into Lot 1319R. (Pct. #4) WORKSHOP AGENDA:
1. Report from Elected Officials and Staff.
2. Report from citizens.
3. Report from Volz and Associates (Tere O’Connell) on Courthouse Preservation/Restoration.
ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED:
4. Approve Proclamation:
a. declaring May 2004 as "Destination Dignity Month" in Comal County;
b. naming the week of May 9-15, 2004 as "National Police Week" in Comal County and recognize May 15th, as "National Peace Officers Memorial Day".
5. Consider and approve Interlocal Agreement by and between Comal County and Kerr County for Chemical Dependency Commitment Hearings and Psychoactive Medication Hearings at Kerrville State Hospital and authorize County Judge to sign.
6. Declare certain county property as surplus to be auctioned off May 22, 2004.
7. Authorize a Court Administrator position in County Court At Law #2 and approve budget amendment to cover the costs.
8. Authorize changing Clerk I position in Purchasing from a part-time position to a full-time position and approve budget amendment to cover the increased costs.
9. Approve transfer of Clerk II position from JP 1 to JP 3 and approve budget amendment effective date to be determined by Human Resources and Auditors Office.
