COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS
NOTICE is hereby given that a
CALL TO ORDER
EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS. ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION.
8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
1. Claims.
2. Approve - Treasurer’s Monthly Investment Report as of April 30, 2003
3. Amendment to Plat, Canyon Lake Hills, Unit 2, combining Lots 950, 969, and 970 into Lot 950R (Pct. #1).
WORKSHOP AGENDA:
1. Report from Elected Officials and Staff.
2. Report from Citizens.
3. Introduction of Architect to Commissioners Court for purpose of evaluating proposals on restoration of Comal County Courthouse.
ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:

Authorize County Judge to sign contracts initiating payment options utilizing the receipt of credit card payments in person and via internet, for the following departments: Tax Assessor-Collector, County Engineer/Road Dept., Health Dept., County Court, County Court at Law, District Court, and four(4) Justice of the Peace Courts.
5. Approve Order:
a. #91 Regulating Dead Wildlife;
b. #92 Notary Public Policy.
6. Approve 2004 Budget Schedule with the budget hearings to be held in July 2003.
7. Authorize Budget Amendment to pay for credit card and/or electronic check processing machines and installation of related telephone lines into the relevant Non-Capital Equipment line items for each department’s relevant account as follows: For County Clerk, County Court at Law, District Clerk & County Engineer/Road Dept., - from General Fund Reserves: Health Dept. - line item transfer; For each of the four (4) Justice of the Peace offices - from the J.P. Technology Fund relevant line item. For Tax Assessor-Collector - line item transfer from salary to non-capital equipment.
8. Open bids for:
a. 36" Dual-Drum (tandem) Articulating, Vibratory Roller;
b. Pneumatic tire tractor with 15 foot flew wing mower;
c. Upgrade security system for the Courthouse, Annex, Landa Building, Tax Office and Probation Offices.
9. Award bids for:
a. Extension Service Building;
b. Justice of the Peace #1 Building
10. EXECUTIVE SESSION AS AUTHORIZED BY GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 551.071 FOR CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY.
11. If necessary, discuss and take appropriate action on any and all items or matters discussed in Executive Session.
