NOTICE is hereby given that a
CALL TO ORDER
EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE.
8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA:
The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
1. Claims.
2. Amendment to plat:
Mystic Shores, Unit Four, combining Lots 491 and 492 into Lot 491R. (Pct. 4)
Mystic Shores, Unit Two, combining Lots 220 and 221 into Lot 220R. (Pct. 4)
Cypress Cove, Section Eleven, Block 3, combining Lots 9 and 10 into Lot 9R. (Pct. 4)
3. Determine platting requirements for approximately 51.0 acres of land being out of the Otto V. D. Decker Survey No. 556, Abstract No. 135 and the G.W. T. & P. R. R. Co. Survey No. 875, Abstract No. 721, within Comal County, Texas. (Pct. 1)

ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED: The following subjects

4. Accept donation of Two (2) Honda Wave Runners and Two (2) trailers from the Water Oriented Recreation District into the Sheriff’s Office inventory.
5. Resolutions:
a. #2003-35 supporting "Maddie’s Fund" Spray/Neuter Program;
b. #2003-36 urging Texas Legislators to seek a statewide solution to the budget crisis.
6. Refunds (over $500.00) of ad valorem tax overpayments or erroneous payments and authorize the Comal County Tax Assessor-Collector to remit refund payments.
7. Discuss City of New Braunfels, Public Library Contract.
8. Approve and Authorize County Judge to sign and file, in the Comal County Deed Records, an Assessment Lien affecting multiple properties within the Paradise Point Subdivision, Comal County, Texas for road improvement and maintenance under TEX. TRANS. CODE § 253.001 et seq. (Pct. 1)
9. Approve budget amendment in Computer Services from: Recurring contracts to: Non-Capital Equipment for the purchase of a redundant switch in the main computer room to eliminate excessive down time whenever one of the primary switch units fail.
10. Approve budget amendment to move money from 2002 budget to the 2003 budget to cover remaining encumbrances from 2002.
11. Approve budget amendment and line-item transfers in the 2002 budget to clean up negatives caused by year-end reclassification of expenditures.
12. Award bids:
Upgrade Security system for the Courthouse, Annex, Landa Building, Tax Office and Probation Offices.
