COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS
NOTICE is hereby given that a
CALL TO ORDER
EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE.
8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
1. Claims.
2. Amendment to Plat:
a. Canyon Lake Forest, Unit No. 2, combining Lots 964, 965, and 966 into Lot 964R. (Pct. 1);
b. Royal Summit, Unit 1, combining Lots 19, 20, and 21 into Lot 19R. (Pct. 4)
WORKSHOP AGENDA:
1. Report from Elected Officials and Staff.
2. Report from Citizens.
ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:

Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Project Agreement Between Comal County and the United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service, Agreement No. 69-7442-3-562 to provide additional funding for landfill costs pertaining to the 2002 flood event debris removal project, and authorize the County Judge to sign said amendment.
4. Proclamation recognizing Natural Resource Conservation Service for River Clean-up.
5. Approve Resolution #2003-37 to apply for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program Grant for the fiscal year 2003.
6. Approve Order:
a. #93 to prohibit sale and use of certain fireworks in the unincorporated areas of Comal County;
b. #94 directing Comal County to defend Dr. Carlos Campos in a suit styled Kent Krueger vs. Dr. Carlos Campos, et al. cause #SA-02-CA-0888-FB and authorize County Judge to sign.
7. Discuss and take appropriate action regarding prohibiting outdoor burning.
8. Approve County Court-At-Law magistration position and funding with budget amendment from General Fund Reserves.
Approve Alamo Area Council of Governments Memorandum of Understanding reference additional Domestic Preparedness Funding of $50,000 for the purchase of a Decontamination Trailer and ratify County Judge’s signature dated June 5, 2003.
10. Approve Bexar Metro 911 budget for fiscal year 2004.
11. Approve Grant Application for Local Public Health Preparedness and Response for Bioterrorism
12. Authorize Requesting Bids for:
a. Removal of improvements and debris on properties within Comal County from the flood of 2002;
b. 35" dual-drum (tandem) articulating, vibratory roller;
c. 7" combination steel front drum and rubber tire rear wheels, articulating, vibratory roller.
