COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS
NOTICE is hereby given that a
CALL TO ORDER
EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE.
8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA:
The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
1. Claims.
2. Approve quitclaim deeds for:
a. Approximate 8.263 acre tract of land being out of the Michael W. Potter Survey, Abstract Number 452, as recorded in Volume 160, Pate 299 in the Comal County Deed Records, Comal County, Texas. (Pct. 4)
b. Approximate 2.93 acre tract of land being out of the Michael W. Potter Survey, Abstract Number 452, as recorded in Document Number 200206011836, in the Comal County Deed Records, Comal County, Texas. (Pct. 4)
3. Public hearing to consider the placement of certain regulatory signs on County roads, and approve placement of said signs. (Pct. 4)
4. Accept the public roads within Mystic Shores, Unit Nine, into the Comal County Unit Road System, and release the associated surety, Construction Bond No. 26-13-66. (Pct. #4)
5. Final approval of Comal Trace, Unit 6, accept Escrow Agreement as road surety, accept Escrow Agreement as surety for the water distribution system, accept dedication of right-of-way, and grant variance requests. (Pct. #2)
WORKSHOP AGENDA:

2. Report from Citizens.
3. Presentation of V.G. Young Institute certificates for continuing education units to Commissioners and County Judge.
ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
6. Refunds (over $500.00) of ad valorem tax overpayments or erroneous payments and authorize the Comal County Tax Assessor-Collector to remit refund payments.
7. Approve Tax Assessor-Collector’s Monthly Collection Report – May 2003.
8. Appoint/reappoint members to the Comal County Industrial Development Authority Board.
9. Ratify County Judge’s signature on a $50,000. Homeland Security Overtime Grant Application for the Sheriff’s Office.
10. Approval of Commissioners Court Term Minutes for December 19, and 20, 2002; March 6, 10, 13, 20, 27, and 31, 2003; April 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2003.
11. Discuss and take appropriate action regarding prohibiting outdoor burning.
12. Authorize Requesting Bids for existing Sheriff’s Office/Jail Camera System to be upgraded and add cameras where necessary.
