NOTICE is hereby given that a
CALL TO ORDER EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION.
8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
1. Claims.
2. Accept extension of road surety, Construction Bond No. TXIFSU0288275, for The Legends at Rancho Del Lago, Unit 2. (Pct. #4)
3. Accept extension of storm water drainage improvements surety, Construction Bond No. TXIFSU0288276, for The Legends at Rancho Del Lago, Unit 2. (Pct. #4)
WORKSHOP AGENDA:
1. Reports from Elected Officials and Staff.
2. Reports from Citizens.
ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED:
4. Accept a $1,500 donation from an anonymous donor to the Sheriff’s Department for crime prevention and amend the budget in the Sheriff’s Department – Crime Prevention/Community Relations in the same amount.
5. Appoint member to the Comal County Industrial Development Authority Board with a term to expire December 2005.
6. Accept the FY2004 Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Grant for $543,492.00 and authorize the County Judge to sign.
7. Approve renewal of Ameriflex Service Agreement (COBRA, HIPPA and Cafeteria Administration) and authorize Bob Grazioli to sign.
8. Discuss and consider prohibiting outdoor burning.
9. Line-item transfer in:
a. Road & Bridge Fund from: Other Construction Projects to: overtime, gas and oil, tires and tubes, traffic control devices, building maintenance, parts and repairs and boat ramp repairs to cover expenditures for the remainder of 2004;
b. County Court At Law Clerks from: Copier Maintenance to: Non-Capital Equipment to replace printer.
10. Award bids for Prescription Drugs for Inmates at the Comal County Jail.
11 EXECUTIVE SESSION as authorized by Government Code Section 551.071 for consultation with attorney:
a. Cause No. C2001-977B; Ray Gene Saur, Larry Wayne Saur and Janet Sue Saur Flores v. Sharon Kay Saur McNeely;
b. In re: Cynthia Morgan Rippstein: Case No. 04-52915; United States Bankruptcy Court; Western District of Texas;
c. Civil Claim by Arturo Ruiz and Eder Puga Perez.
12. EXECUTIVE SESSION as authorized by Government Code Section 551.072 for deliberations about Real Property.
13. EXECUTIVE SESSION as authorized by Government Code Section 551.074 for personnel matters.
14. If necessary, discuss and take appropriate action on any and all items or matters discussed in Executive Session.
