COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS
NOTICE is hereby given that a
CALL TO ORDER
EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION.
8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
1. Claims.
2. Recognition of employees for years of service to Comal County.
3. Discuss the proposed Comal County Major Thoroughfare Plan.
4. Amendment to Plat, Canyon Oaks Estates, combining Lots 29 and 30 into Lot 29R. (Pct. #4) WORKSHOP AGENDA:
1. Reports from Elected Officials and Staff.
2. Reports from Citizens.
ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
5. Approve Proclamation recognizing October 2003 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Comal County.
6. Approve Confidentiality Agreement with True Automation, Inc. and authorize County Judge to sign.
7. Approve entering into a written agreement with Volz & Associates, Inc. to prepare a feasibility study for the renovation and/or preservation of the Comal County Courthouse and authorize the County Judge to sign.
8. Budget amendment in:
a. New County Court at Law Judge #2, to fund operating expenses for the remainder of calendar year 2003.
b. Justice of the Peace #2 to establish an overtime line for additional hours by clerks.
9. Open bids for:
a. Single Guardrail Terminal for County Road Department.
b. Vehicle Storage Building for Sheriff’s Office.
10. EXECUTIVE SESSION as authorized by Government Code Section:
a. 551.087 for deliberation regarding economic development negotiations;
b. 551.072 for deliberation regarding real property.
11. If necessary discuss and take appropriate action on any and all items or matters
discussed in Executive Session.

I received and posted said Notice on the bulletin board at the Southeast entrance of the Old Courthouse located at 100 Main Plaza at a place readily accessible to the general public at all times on the 29th day of September 2003, at 8:15 a.m. Said Notice remained so posted continuously for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of said Meeting.
