COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS
NOTICE is hereby given that a
CALL TO ORDER EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION.
8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA: The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:
1. Claims.
2. Amendment to plat, Cypress Cove, Section 10, combining Lots 42, 43, & 44 into Lot 42R. (Pct.4)
WORKSHOP AGENDA:
1. Report from Elected Officials and Staff.
2. Report from Citizens.
ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED:
3. Proclamation naming Thursday, October 7, 2004 as "Living Legends Day" in Comal County and recognizing:
a. Linden Anderson
b. Joe Rogers
c. Merritt J. Schumann
………………as Comal County’s 2004 Living Legends.
4. Appoint County Extension Agent –Family Consumer Sciences for Comal County Extension Services.
5. Approve Interlocal Assistance Agreement with Comal County and the City of New Braunfels Police Department to form a Mutual Aid Law Enforcement Unit and authorize County Judge to sign.
6. Consider and approve Tax Roll with section 26.09(e) of the Texas Property Tax Code.
7. Ratify License Agreement between Comal County and John DeLoach on 526 River Cliff, Canyon Lake, TX 78133 property, and accept check for annual property fee dated 9-27-04.
8. Renew Texas State Board of Pharmacy License for Comal County Public Health and authorize County Judge to sign.
9. Discuss and consider prohibiting outdoor burning.
10. Approve Local Public Health Preparedness Application and Work Plan and authorize County Judge to sign.
11. Approve Interlocal Agreement between Comal Appraisal District and Comal County for assisting with the funding of the Comal Appraisal District Parcel Alignment Project and authorize the County Judge to sign.
12. Approve budget amendment in the Road Department to fund, in a cooperative effort with the City of New Braunfels, the lease of current aerial photography to facilitate the Comal Appraisal Districts Parcel Alignment Project.
13. Approve line item transfer in :
a. Jail from: Feeding Prisoners to: Office Supplies, Building Maintenance and Alarm System Maintenance to cover expenditures for remainder of 2004.
b. Extension Office from: Agricultural Agent to: a new line for an interpreter to be used 2.5 hours per week for six weeks for the "Do Well Be Well with Diabetes Program".
14. Approve budget amendment in Constable Pct. #4 from: General Fund Reserves to: Non-Capital Equipment and Capital Equipment for the purchase of a new vehicle and equipment that was approved in the 2005 Budget, in 2004.
15. Amend the 2005 Budget in Constable Pct. #4 from: Non-Capital Equipment to: General Fund Reserves to remove one new vehicle and equipment that was approved in the 2005 Budget but purchased in 2004.
