NOTICE OF MEETING

COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS

NOTICE is hereby given that a REGULAR meeting of COMMISSIONERS' COURT will be held on Thursday, the 6th day of February, 2003 at 8:15 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom, 199 Main Plaza, New Braunfels, Texas.

CALL TO ORDER

EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ANYONE NOT WISHING TO PARTICIPATE MAY BRIEFLY LEAVE THE COURTROOM.

8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA:

The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon. 

1. Claims.

2. Introduction of new hires(s) and authorize County Judge to sign new hire checklist(s) and job descriptions(s) as appropriate.

3. Accept extension of road surety for:

a. Mystic Shores, Unit Eight, Construction Bond No. 26-13-46 (Pct. #4).

b. Stallion Estates, Unit 6, Construction Bond #SWIFSU0307121 (Pct. #4).

4. Public hearing and Vacate and Replat of Lots 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and a portion of Riverside Path, Maricopa Ranch, Section One, establishing Lots 10R, 11R, 12R, 13R, and 14R (Pct. #4).

5. Amendment to Plat, River Chase, Unit Five, combining Lots 549, 550 and 551, into Lot 549R. (Pct. #1)

WORKSHOP AGENDA:

1. Report from Elected Officials and Staff.

2. Report from Citizens.

ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED:

The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:

6. Authorize Austin Founders Trail Ride to utilize a portion of Hidden Valley Sports Park on

March 15, 2003 (Pct. #4).

7. Select members to serve on the Comal County Salary Grievance Committee.

8. Order No. 86 adopting Chapter 320 Texas Local Government Code for the purpose of acquiring,

improving, equipping, maintaining, financing, and operating one or more public parks.

9. Enter into lease agreement pursuant to Comal County Order No.86.

10. Real Estate Sales Contract by Order of Commissioners Court for a tract or parcel of land containing 20.0 acres out of the F. Michael Survey No. 653, Abstract 400, being the same tract of land described in conveyance from Clifford Henry Dietz, et ux to Wayne Pooley and Wife Susan Pooley, of record in Volume 470 Pages 239-241 Deed Records of Comal County, Texas and take appropriate action.

11. Reject bids for document imaging and request RFO’s (Request for Offer) for document imaging using State of Texas approved guidelines for QISV (Qualified Information System Vendors) purchases.

12. Request approval to procure automated technology items and services using the QISV (Qualified Information System Vendors) method offered by the State of Texas to cooperative members for remainder of 2003.
