NOTICE OF MEETING

COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS

NOTICE is hereby given that a REGULAR meeting of COMMISSIONERS' COURT will be held on Thursday

the 31st day of March 2005, at 8:15 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom, 199 Main Plaza, New Braunfels, Texas.

CALL TO ORDER EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION.

8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA:

The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:

1. Claims.

2. Approve Temporary Construction Easement Agreement between Comal County and Lola Arlene Dierks.

3. Vacate and replat of Lot 97R, Waggener Ranch, Unit Two, and 1.17 acres of land out of the B.F. Smithson Survey No. 926, A-849, establishing Lot 97RR. (Pct. #1)

4. Grant variance for encroachment into the 25’ front building setback on Lot 3, Shady Vale Subdivision, Unit 2. (Pct. #1)

5. Accept extension of Storm Water Drainage improvements surety, Letter of Credit No. 526, for The Legends at Rancho Del Lago, Unit 3. (Pct. #4)

WORKSHOP AGENDA:

1. Reports from Elected Officials and Staff.

2. Reports from Citizens.

ACTION AGENDA CONTINUED:

The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:

6. Approve Proclamation recognizing the month of April as "Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month" in Comal County.

7. Consider and approve agreement between Department of Defense Information Systems and Comal County to facilitate Urban Area Security Initiatives Conference and authorize County Judge to sign.

8. Approve and authorize County Judge to sign agreement with Volz for restoration of the Comal County Courthouse.

9. Approve and authorize County Judge to sign agreement with Volz for preliminary plans, specifications and cost estimate for additional building and parking next to the Comal County Tax Office.

10. Open bids for: Oblate Drive right-of-way clearing within Comal County.

11. EXECUTIVE SESSION as authorized by Government Code Section 551.072 for deliberations about Real Property.

12. EXECUTIVE SESSION as authorized by Government Code Section 551.071 for consultation with Attorney.

13. If necessary, discuss and take appropriate action on any and all items or matters discussed in Executive Session.
