 NOTICE OF MEETING

COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS

NOTICE is hereby given that a REGULAR meeting of COMMISSIONERS' COURT will be held on Thursday

the 21st day of April 2005, at 8:15 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom, 199 Main Plaza, New Braunfels, Texas.

CALL TO ORDER EACH REGULAR SESSION WILL BE OPENED WITH A PRAYER AND PLEDGES TO THE FLAGS-ALL PERSONS IN ATTENDANCE ARE WELCOME AND FREE TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT AT THEIR PERSONAL DISCRETION.

8:15 a.m. ACTION AGENDA:

The following subjects will be discussed, considered, and acted upon:

1. Claims.

2. Amendment to Plat, the Ridge at Mountain Springs Ranch, combining Lots 346 and 347 into Lot 346R. (Pct. #1)

3. Vacate and replat of Lots 99. 100, 101, 102, 103, and 104, Canyon Lake Village, Unit 2, establishing Lots 99R and 100R. (Pct. #1)

4. Release Subdivision Bond No. 08757469 for Mission Hills Ranch, Unit 2. (Pct. #2)

5. Accept extension of road surety, Continuation Certificate to Construction Bond No. B21871420, for River Chase, Unit Seven. (Pct. #4)

6. Public hearing to consider calling an election for Arrowhead Village Subdivision, for assessment of property owners for road construction pursuant to Chapter 253 of the Texas Transportation Code. (Pct. #1)

7. Public hearing to consider calling an election for Rebecca Creek Park, for assessment of property owners for road construction pursuant to Chapter 253 of the Texas Transportation Code. (Pct. #4)

8. Revise Comal County Major Thoroughfare Plan to classify North Cranes Mill Road as a Collector Road. (Pct. #4)

9. Approve Resolution 2005-08 Supporting the Proposal for the Affordable Income Housing Tax Credit Program Submitted for the Villas at German Spring Apartments by Villas at German Spring, L.P.

10. Approve and authorize County Judge to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Comal County Courthouse Master Plan, Space Use Study and Grant Application Project Consulting Architectural Services Agreement.

11. Approve Trolley Contract and Reservation Invoice for trolley services and authorize Commissioner Pct. #3 to sign.

12. Approve Tax Assessor-Collector’s Monthly Collection Report- March 2005.

13. Discuss and approve onsite Inmate Dental Contract with Tejas Correctional Dental Care, P.A. and authorize County Judge to sign.

14. Renew Interlocal Application for Immunization services between Texas Department of State Health Services and Comal County Public Health for $115,280.00 and authorize County Judge to sign.

15. Renew FY05 Bioterrorism Preparedness Grant between Texas Department of State Health Services-Region 8 and Comal County Public Health for $113,000.00 and authorize County Judge to sign.

16. Approve the Ameriflex HIPAA/COBRA renewal service agreement for May 2005-April 2006, and authorize Human Resource Director to sign.

17. Approve budget amendment to move money from 2004 budget to the 2005 budget to cover remaining encumbrances from 2004.

18. Approve budget amendment and line-item transfers in the 2004 budget to clean up negatives caused by year-end reclassification of expenditures.

19. Award bids for Schoenthal Drainage Improvements Project.

20. EXECUTIVE SESSION as authorized by Government Code Section 551.074 for Personnel Matters-Employee Evaluations.

21. If necessary, discuss and take appropriate action on any and all items or matters discussed in Executive Session.
