COMMISSIONERS COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS

NOTICE is hereby given that a REGULAR meeting of COMMISSIONERS COURT will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 8:30 AM in the Commissioners Courtroom, 100 Main Plaza, New Braunfels, Texas. You may visit our website at www.co.comal.tx.us for agenda postings.

Before each regular session will be an invocation and pledges to the flags. All persons in attendance are invited to participate or not at their own personal discretion.

2. Discuss and consider accepting the dedication of right-of-way to the public within Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard, Unit 6, accept the roads into the Comal County Unit Road System, acknowledge the completion of storm water drainage improvements, and release the associated road and storm water drainage surety, Construction Bond No. 1084501. (Pct. 1)

3. Discuss and consider approval of a private street name, Grusendorf Rd, situated off of W. Ammann Rd, southwest of its intersection with Kelly Creek Rd, within Comal County, Texas. (Pct. 2)

4. Discuss and consider approval of a private street name, Reeh Ranch Rd, situated off of FM 3009, northwest of Canham Ranch Subdivision, within Comal County, Texas. (Pct. 2)

5. Discuss and consider approval of the Amending Plat of River Point Estates, Unit 2, amending Lots 35 and 36, establishing Lots 35AP and 36AP. (Pct. 4)

6. Discuss and consider final approval of Lake Ridge at Canyon Lake, Unit Two, accept Construction Bond No. 0426479 as road surety, grant variance, and authorize County Judge to sign said surety bond and variance. (Pct. 4)

7. Discuss and consider approval of the Amendment to Plat, Horseshoe Falls Estates, Unit 2, combining Lots 5 and 6 of Block 11, establishing Lot 5R. (Pct. 4)

8. Discuss and consider acceptance of Comal County's 2013 fiscal year audit report by ABIP, P.C.

9. Discuss and consider approval of Letter of Agreement by and between Comal-Guadalupe Soil & Water Conservation District #306 and Comal County, Texas, and authorize County Judge to sign.

10. Discuss and consider approval of Texas Department of Public Safety Annual Inventory Control Requirement and authorize County Judge to sign.

11. Remove from Table of June 19, 2014: Discuss and consider approval of Resolution 2014-14 Adopting Guidelines and Criteria for Tax Abatements and Appointing Members to the Comal County Tax Compliance Committee.

12. EXECUTIVE SESSIONS:

In accordance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, Subchapter D, Commissioners Court may convene in a closed session to discuss any of the following items; any final action or vote taken will be in public.

(A) Deliberate and consider the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property, in accordance with Section 551.072, of the Texas Government Code.

(B) Deliberate issues regarding economic development negotiations in accordance with Section 551.087, of the Texas Government Code.

(C) Deliberate pending/ contemplated litigation, settlement offer(s), and matters concerning privileged and unprivileged client information deemed confidential by Rule 1.05 of the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct in accordance with Section 551.071, of the Texas Government Code.

NOTE: Commissioners Court reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meetings Act (Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code).
