COMMISSIONERS COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS

NOTICE is hereby given that a REGULAR meeting of COMMISSIONERS COURT will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 8:30 AM in the Commissioners Courtroom, 100 Main Plaza, New Braunfels, Texas. You may visit our website at www.co.comal.tx.us for agenda postings.
Before each regular session will be an invocation and pledges to the flags. All persons in attendance are invited to participate or not at their own personal discretion.

3. Discuss and consider approval of the Amendment to Plat, Canyon Lake Village West, Unit No. 1, combining Lots 68 and 69, establishing Lot 68R. (Pct. 1)

4. Public hearing concerning the application for cancellation of the subdivision named Forrest Wilson Subdivision. (Pct. 2)

5. Discuss and consider approval of Order #342, authorizing the filing of an instrument cancelling the subdivision named Forrest Wilson Subdivision. (Pct. 2)

6. Discuss and consider approval of the Amendment to Plat, Tanglewood Shores Subdivision on Canyon Lake, combining Lots 235, 246, 247, and 248, establishing Lot 235R. (Pct. 4)

7. Discuss and consider approval of the Amendment to Plat combining Lot 6 of Block 61, Rebecca Creek Park, Third Filing, Blocks 60 & 61, with Lot 7R of the Amendment to Plat establishing Lot 7R of Block 61, Rebecca Creek Park, Third Filing, Blocks 60 & 61, to establish Lot 6R of Block 61. (Pct. 4)

8. Discuss and consider approval of Amendment No. 2 to Master Service Agreement for Response Services by and between Garner Environmental Services, Inc. and Comal County, Texas, and authorize County Judge to sign.

9. Discuss and consider approval of Comal County Vendor Remote Access/Password Policy.

10. Discuss and consider approval of reclassification of Administrative Training Coordinator (N8) position in Sheriff's Office to Training Coordinator (N9) position. (No budget amendment necessary)

11. Discuss and consider approval of a budget amendment in the Sheriff's Federal Asset Sharing Fund, FROM: Reserves, TO: Various lines, to establish a budget for 2014.

12. Discuss and consider approval of WatchGuard In-Car Camera Systems for the Comal County Sheriff's Office utilizing the Federal Asset Forfeiture Sharing Account.

13. Discuss and consider approval of installation of fiber line for Justice of the Peace Pct. #3 utilizing the Justice Court Technology Fund.

14. Discuss and consider approval of an Order Restricting Outdoor Burning in the Unincorporated Areas of Comal County.

15. Discuss and consider approval of Interlocal Cost Sharing Agreement Between Comal County, Texas, and the City of New Braunfels Regarding Phase One Preliminary Assessment for Transportation Reinvestment Zone, and authorize County Judge to sign.

16. Discuss and consider approval of Resolution 2014-14 Adopting Guidelines and Criteria for Tax Abatements and Appointing Members to the Comal County Tax Compliance Committee.

17. EXECUTIVE SESSIONS:

In accordance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, Subchapter D, Commissioners Court may convene in a closed session to discuss any of the following items; any final action or vote taken will be in public.

(A) Deliberate and consider the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property, in accordance with Section 551.072, of the Texas Government Code.

(B) Deliberate issues regarding economic development negotiations in accordance with Section 551.087, of the Texas Government Code.

(C) Deliberate pending/ contemplated litigation, settlement offer(s), and matters concerning privileged and unprivileged client information deemed confidential by Rule 1.05 of the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct in accordance with Section 551.071, of the Texas Government Code.

NOTE: Commissioners Court reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meetings Act (Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code).
