COMMISSIONERS COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS
NOTICE is hereby given that a REGULAR meeting of
COMMISSIONERS COURT will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017
at 8:30 AM in the Commissioners Courtroom, 100 Main Plaza, New
Braunfels, Texas. You may visit our website at www.co.comal.tx.us for

flags. All persons in attendance are invited to participate or not at
their own personal discretion.

1. Approve Claims.
1. Citizens’ Comments. (Citizens’ Comments are limited to three

2. Presentation of the Public Health January 2017 Report.
3. Reports by County Staff and Elected Officials on items of

2. Discuss and consider approval of the Amendment to Plat of
Creekwood Ranches, Unit No. 3, combining Lots 21 and 22 of Block 7, establishing Lot 21R. (Pct.1)
3. Discuss and consider approval of the Amendment to Plat of Canyon
Lake Forest, Unit No. 1, combining Lots 259 and 260, establishing Lot 259R. (Pct. 1)
4. Discuss and consider approval of the Amending Plat of Cascada at
Canyon Lake, Unit 1, amending Lots 1 and 98, establishing Lots 1AP and 98AP. (Pct. 4)
5. Discuss and consider approval of the Amendment to Plat of Cypress

Agreement Between Comal County, Texas and Ben E. Keith Company, and
authorize County Judge to sign.
11.Discuss and consider approval of Resolution 2017-09 in support of
a Potential Tax Credit Program Proposal with Liv Johnson Ranch, LP or
its Permitted assigns, for the Development to be known as Liv Senior @ Johnson Ranch.
12.Discuss and consider approval of Contract for Detention Services
by and between Atascosa County and Comal County, and authorize County Judge to sign.
13.Discuss and consider approval of the 2016 Comal County Racial
Profiling Report(Compilation and Analysis of Information Collected) for
the Comal County Sheriff's Office, pursuant to Article 2.134 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure.
14.Discuss and consider approval of the 2016 Comal County Racial
Profiling Reports(Compilation and Analysis of Information Collected) for
the Comal County Constable's Office Precinct #1, Precinct #2, Precinct
#3, and Precinct #4, pursuant to Article 2.134 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure.
15.Discuss and consider approval of Agreement for Law Enforcement
Services between Comal County Water Oriented Recreation District and
Comal County, Texas, on behalf of Constable Precinct 4 and authorize
County Judge to sign.
16.Discuss and consider approval of the 2017 Budget of the Water
Oriented Recreation District of Comal County.
17.Discuss and consider approval of new High Risk Domestic Violence
Coordinator position (N7-3) in the Criminal District Attorney's Office and job description.
18.Discuss and consider appointing the following members to the Comal County Historical Commission Board of Directors:
(A) Ramiro Ayala
(B) Jose L. Ayala
19.Discuss and consider approval of a line-item transfer in Law
Library, FROM: Copier Lease & Maintenance, TO: Telephone/Aircard Costs
to cover costs of wifi device and service for the year.
20. EXECUTIVE SESSIONS:
In accordance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code,
Subchapter D, Commissioners Court may convene in a closed session to
discuss any of the following items; any final action or vote taken will
be in public.
(A) Deliberate and consider the purchase, exchange,
lease or value of real property, in accordance with Section 551.072, of
the Texas Government Code.
(B) Deliberate issues regarding economic development
negotiations in accordance with Section 551.087, of the Texas Government Code.
(C) Deliberate pending/ contemplated litigation,
settlement offer(s), and matters concerning privileged and unprivileged
client information deemed confidential by Rule 1.05 of the Texas
Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct in accordance with Section
551.071, of the Texas Government Code.
NOTE: Commissioners Court reserves the right to retire into executive
session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda whenever it is
considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meetings Act
(Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code).
