COMMISSIONERS COURT OF COMAL COUNTY TEXAS
NOTICE is hereby given that a REGULAR meeting of
COMMISSIONERS COURT will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at
8:30 AM in the Commissioners Courtroom, 100 Main Plaza, New
Braunfels, Texas. You may visit our website at www.co.comal.tx.us for

2. Discuss and consider acceptance of donation of six (6) used Dell
Latitude Laptop Computers to the Sheriff's Office from EOG Resources.

Oaks at the Vineyard, Unit 15. (Pct. 1)
4. Discuss and consider approval of the Amendment to Plat of Fischer
Thirty Two, combining Lots 18, 19 and 20, establishing Lot 18R. (Pct. 4)
5. Discuss and consider approval of Comal Trinity Groundwater
Conservation District (CTGCD) Well Registration Forms for 6 wells used
at County Parks and authorize County Judge to sign.
6. Discuss and consider approval of Tax Assessor-Collector’s Monthly
Collection Report – February 2017.
and consider approval of waiver of penalties and interest accrued on
2016 ad valorem taxes or take appropriate action.
8. Discuss and consider approval of Interlocal Agreement by and between
Comal County, Texas, and the City of New Braunfels for utilization of a
portion of the City building and property located at 424 S. Castell
Avenue, and authorize County Judge to sign.
9. Discuss and consider approval of modification and lease of two
portable office buildings located adjacent to 424 Castell Avenue
utilizing TXMAS-4-56060 Contract and authorize Purchasing Director to
execute all related documents.
10. Discuss and consider approval of Agreement for Provision of Economic
Development Services by and between the Bulverde/Spring Branch Economic
Development Foundation, Inc. and Comal County, Texas, and authorize
County Judge to sign.
11. DISCUSS AND CONSIDER APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 2017-11 BY THE
COMMISSIONERS COURT OF COMAL COUNTY, TEXAS ACCEPTING AN APPLICATION
CONCERNING THE CREATION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT IN SUPPORT OF
THE DEVELOPMENT KNOWN AS “THE GROVE”; FINDING THE PETITION TO BE
COMPLIANT WITH APPLICABLE LAW; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE POSSIBLE CREATION OF A PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT; AND RESOLVING OTHER MATTERS IN CONNECTION
12. Discuss and consider approval of Provant Incentive Challenge program
for Comal County employees enrolled in ASO medical plan offered through
Texas Association of Counties for 2017.
13. Discuss and consider approval of Agreement Between Owner and
Construction Manager-at-Risk, Yates-Sundt Joint Venture, for the Comal
County Jail Construction and Sheriff's Office Building Renovation and
authorize County Judge to sign.
14. EXECUTIVE SESSIONS:
In accordance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code,
Subchapter D, Commissioners Court may convene in a closed session to
discuss any of the following items; any final action or vote taken will
be in public.
(A) Deliberate and consider the purchase, exchange,
lease or value of real property, in accordance with Section 551.072, of
the Texas Government Code.
(B) Deliberate issues regarding economic development
negotiations in accordance with Section 551.087, of the Texas Government
(C) Deliberate pending/ contemplated litigation,
settlement offer(s), and matters concerning privileged and unprivileged
client information deemed confidential by Rule 1.05 of the Texas
Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct in accordance with Section
551.071, of the Texas Government Code.
NOTE: Commissioners Court reserves the right to retire into executive
session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda whenever it is
considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meetings Act
(Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code).
