THE GOALS OF THE COMAL COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT:

Adult Wellness Health w Nurse Practitioner:

  • Self Breast Exam instruction

  • Annual Exams and Family Planning

  • STD screening and treatment

  • Routine laboratory services

  • School and Day Care physicals

Miscellaneous:

  • Accessibility to health information, pamphlets, and programs

  • Management and maintenance of immunization records of clients

 

 

Women's Health:

  • Pregnancy test

  • Proof of pregnancy for Medicaid

  • Referrals for pre-natal care

HIV & Hepatitis Testing:

  • HIV testing

  • HIV / AIDS information

  • Referrals for medical/social needs

  • Testing for Hepatitis B & C

  • Proof of vaccine response (TITERS)

TB:

  • Screening/testing per Texas State guidelines
