If the teenage
offender successfully completes his
sentence, the case is dismissed. Failure to
comply with the Teen Court’s sentence will
result in the case being returned to the
appropriate court and a Final Conviction,
with Fines and Cost due and owing, will be
entered against the teenager.
How do I qualify for the Teen Court Program?
The following criteria must be met:

Under the age of 18
-
Enrolled full time in school, or a
program leading toward a high school
diploma or GED (If you fail to attend
school while in Teen Court, you will be
removed from the program)

You have not participated in a Teen
Court program in the last two years
-
Enter a
plea of guilty or
no contest
in open court with your parents,
guardian, or managing conservator
-
Sign an Order agreeing to have the case
heard in Teen Court
-
Pay a $10
administrative fee
to the Justice
Court and
a $10 fee to

How will Teen Court benefit me?

How Do I Apply For
Teen Court?
You and your
parent(s) must appear before the judge
in open court and submit your request
for Teen
Court.
Therefore,
please call or visit our office and
speak to the
Court
Coordinator (830– 221-1133)
and ask for a hearing date for your
application to be considered by the
judge.
What
happens once I am accepted into the program?
Connections
will be notified of your
participation in the Teen Court program
and they will contact you and your
parents. You and your parents shall
follow and comply with all their

This
court, upon successful completion of
the program, will
dismiss
