LVN/Immunization Nurse

To provide immunizations to the public according to the laws and
guidelines of the State of Texas. This is a grant position and will
remain in effect as grant funds continue.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse Program. Current Texas License as a Licensed Vocational Nurse with a minimum of two years employment in the medical field as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.

Webmaster GIS/Product Administrator for County Engineer's Office

This is the primary focal point for the CCEO computer operations; responsible for developing, implementing, & maintaining web-based applications; resolve issues with existing and/or developed systems, & works with appropriate resources, as well as utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) for CCEO Website.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Requires excellent knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices and procedures pertaining to software development & Website development;  GIS is experience is highly preferred.

Corrections Officer (Jail)

This individual is responsible for the general supervision of inmates as assigned to his/her duty station, the preparation of incident, booking data and other prisoner-related reports, the security and safety of inmates and the facility. Other duties to include feeding prisoners; supervising the daily cleaning of the facility; classifying prisoners; taking fingerprints; moving prisoners throughout facility; handling violent inmates/physical confrontation; handling intoxicated and/or prisoners under influence of drugs or other substances; handling mentally ill prisoners; observation of suicidal inmates and responding to such attempts; responding to other medical emergencies; responding to fire alarms/fires and safely evacuating prisoners. Note: The duties listed are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed; omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position and is assigned by the supervisor. Shift work is required.
