Local County Official to be Published in State-Wide Magazine

Gregory Parker, Comal County Commissioner, Precinct #3 will be published in the April edition of the County Progress Magazine. "County Progress Magazine was very
pleased that Commissioner Parker accepted our invitation to write a guest column for our publication," said County Progress editor Julie Anderson. "His column will be an encouragement to new officials throughout the state who have taken on the challenging role of a grassroots public servant." Parker has written two articles one on the Texas Indigent Health system and the other to encourage newly elected officials, which will be released in April 2005 issues. "I am very pleased to have my ideas published in such a respected magazine. County Progress Magazine is the official publication of the County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas. County Progress was authorized by the organization's Constitution of 1923. The magazine covers all 254 Texas counties, and is the only publication in Texas - and one of the few in the country - especially devoted to county judges and county commissioners.
