The Comal County Tax Office has contracted with HEB to give Comal County residents another outlet for motor vehicle registration renewals.  Residents can renew vehicle registrations at either HEB location listed below provided they have the renewal notice from the Texas Department of Transportation, and proof of insurance.

In order to register your vehicle(s) at the New Braunfels or the Bulverde H.E.B Grocery Store, you must have the following:

1) renewal notice issued by the Texas Department of Transportation;

2) vehicle must have an expiration date in the current month and year;

3) the number in the plate age box must be lower than "7";

4) no "legal restraint" notation may be indicated on the renewal form;

5) must present proof of current insurance for the vehicle being registered; and

6) this convenience is available for Comal County Residents ONLY.
