Comal County Sheriff's Office Community Resource Team

The Comal County Sheriff's Office works hard to stop crimes before they happen. This is lead by the Crime Prevention efforts of the Comal County Sheriff's Office Community Resource Team. The CRT, led by Sgt. Rick Cardenas and Cpl. Carrie Schaefer is comprised of school resource (SRO), crime prevention, and D.A.R.E. deputies. This unit acts as a team to perform the community policing functions of the agency.
