Comal County Sheriff's Office

A message from Sheriff Mark Reynolds
We’ve all been through a lot since 2020. Together we are stronger as we faced the challenges of COVID and Winter Storm Uri. Texans are resilient and stand ready to face the next challenge and anything that 2023 has in store.Sheriff’s Office and Jail Update:
Substantial completion of the Sheriff’s Office renovation Phase I was reached in early May. We began moving personnel by sections into the building in June/July. Phase II, the work on the parking lot in the rear of the building was completed in July/August. There is a new look inside and out. We have adjusted well and staff are enjoying the new space. We remember all those have imprinted their footsteps in these hallways. We still have finalization work in some areas and the outside landscaping. We continue to hold out-of-county inmates in the Jail as space is available. This allows us to recoup tax dollars spent on the operation of the Jail. The CSA will resume in March of 2023 and we will be announcing the dates soon. Our 2020 CSA class will have first option to return. Wishing you all a Happy 2023!!
We are honored and privileged to serve Comal County!
Sincerely,
Mark W. Reynolds, Sheriff
